NNEGC "Energoatom" presented social and anti-corruption initiatives at Davos communication forum
September 8, 2014 Head of Public Relations department NNEGC "Energoatom" Danila Lavrenov participated in Davos communication forum (WCF Davos Kyiv), particularly in the panel discussion "Sufficient level of corporate transparency in Ukrainian realities". Representatives of Ukrainian and international business discussed the process of transparency policy in Ukrainian companies, advantages and disadvantages of publicity regulation process, basic integration model of transparency in organization’s management.
During the panel discussion, Danila Lavrenov compared transparency politics in state and private companies: "Despite some procedural difficulties in NNEGC “Energoatom” we initiated a number of social and anti-corruption projects which aim to improve openness and transparency. Among them - implementation of compliance policy, cooperation with anti-corruption civil society organizations and launching projects to raise awareness among young people. Also we are engaged in applying process to UN Global Compact. These initiatives are supported by the company’s top management". In addition, Danila highlighted company's plans in the field of corporate social responsibility for the following years.
World Communication Forum Davos (WCFDavos) is a global platform for effective solutions in the field of communications. The event is held since 2010 and is performed in the same hall where the World Economic Forum is held. WCF Davos annually attracts more than 3,000 professionals in the field of communications from around the world. Representatives of 42 countries from 5 continents attended the forum. Coordination Committee consists of 29 experts from 20 countries.
